Clearer vision
I thought my camera may be having issues, because all the pictures I took of Emiline at the hospital were blurry (see previous post for example). Well, as I was taking pictures yesterday, I looked closely and found that the lens had little finger prints on it!!! Whew, it's just a case of letting the little munchkins use the camera.
So, here's a clearer picture for those of you who are interested:

How did that get there?
I know that with kids around, you end up finding things in the most unusual places, but this one takes the cake...

I was cleaning the light fixture above the kitchen table and I noticed about 5 pieces of Kix cereal nestled nicely in it. Now, what do you suppose was going on when I wasn't in the room? I can only imagine.

Just an Update
We've been really busy around here getting ready for fall and for this new little addition to our family. Nothing too exciting, but I really wanted to update my blog, so here's what we've been doing with our days....
I decided to take this week off school to get ready for the baby. You know, clean clothes, a crib, a carseat, baby swing and rocker all might be a good thing. I tend to put off getting those things out until the last minute so they don't get played on too much! Also, since it is now officially fall (even the weather will admit that now), it was time to pull out the cold-weather clothes. What that means in our family is, we go to our storage building and pull out rubbermaid containers, one for each size we need. Since several of my kids are moving up a size, and we don't know if this baby is a boy or a girl yet, we had to pull out a grand total of 22 buckets! Not an easy task when I can't even bend over! (BTW, my older kids are a great help in that area!)
So now, the task at hand is to go through all the summer clothes, throw away the stained and ripped ones (which is a lot!), pack away the ones that could be used by a younger sibling, and pull out the cold-weather clothes for each child. So far, Kennedy and Creed have their new clothes out, but the rest will have to wait.
Needless to say, our house is now a DISASTER! Or should I say, a work in progress with clothes, shoes and buckets in almost every room. I did have a dream (or nightmare) last night that the realtor called and wanted to schedule a showing for tomorrow--now that would be interesting!!
As far as baby goes, we are scheduled to be induced Tuesday at 11:00am. We will be giving everyone a call to let you know.
