Line up for the haircuts

This is a frequent (it should actually be more frequent than it is..) event at our house, especially with so many boys. We usually start with the oldest and work our way down. If the girls are in need of a trim, they get it at the end. Wow, the pile of hair. I should have taken a picture of that! I'm just grateful that they actually enjoy it (hence the smile). Kennedy hasn't visited the hair salon yet, but I'm sure her time will come.

Great Metropolis of Woodstock, Part 2

And Whoa!!! We also had a Memorial Day parade with a band and everything. We are really moving up in the world!

Welcome to the Great Metropolis of Woodstock!

As most of you know, we live in the town of Woodstock. To give you a little background, there are about 150 residents, 1 stoplight, 5 roads and it is surrounded by farmland. Needless to say, it's not the hip-happening place. So, weren't we all surprised to hear and see this ice cream truck driving through town! I don't think my kids had ever actually had ice cream from one, so with Todd at the head, they all ran out the door. What do you know? Maybe Woodstock isn't as remote as I thought!

We're having a......

KIDASAURUS!!
We followed our tradition of taking all the kids to see the ultrasound. Just picture 8 kids, mom, dad and doctor in a little ultrasound room!! My doctor is just awesome. I've had the same one for all the kids, so he really gets into all this. He brought up the first picture and Mason blurted out, "It looks like a dinosaur!" To which the doctor replied, "It's a Kidasaurus." The doctor then pointed out the hand, head, heart, leg, and we even saw the ear. How cool!
