You just gotta laugh!
Let me tell you about my night...Lacy kept complaining that her stomach was hurting, so we put her on the couch to sleep, then Todd and I got ready to go to sleep. Next thing we know, Preston is running in our room telling us that Carter just threw up. Well, in our house, not just one person gets the stomach flu. So, my night included: 3 beds being stripped, waking up every 15-45 minutes to the lovely sound of "blahh!", keeping the washing machine and dryer going constantly so we were sure to have enough towels, spraying lysol, nursing Emiline, changing 1 exploding diaper (hey, the big kids can't have all the fun!), washing puke out of hair, denying water to a very whiny 4 year old, and trying to keep a smile on my face.
Hopefully today will be less eventful!!

Oh, Bente! I love hearing about your adventures because it so reminds me of my childhood. I hope your kids are feeling well soon and that you are able to get enough sleep. I will say that I have fond memories of having all of my siblings be sick at the same time because we got to stay home and play games together, even if we also had to deal with cleaning up vomit and racing to the bathroom.
I just hope I can have the same perspective you have when I'm the one cleaning it all up.
You are an amazing woman. I think by that point a smile on my face would be the last thing on earth on my list!
