Coolest thing ever!

We were coming home from swim lessons last week and we saw this hot air balloon in the sky. As we headed for home, we noticed that it kept decending, getting closer and closer to the fields of corn and soybeans. We decided to follow it, and finally pulled over and took this picture. We were so excited when it actually landed IN the soybean field we were parked next to. The balloon was literally 50 yards from us. It managed to make its way to the middle of the road, but could go no farther. It was out of fuel. They got permission from the homeowner across the street to land and deflat there, so all but one person jumped out of the basket and they pulled it off the road. We were able to see them pull the air out. It was really cool! One of the advantages of living in the middle of no where, I guess!
